It wasn’t all Castrol M and racing for the Lord Smith Smythe Smith Trophy at this year’s Goodwood Drivers Meeting. Driver Stephen Bond suffered only a broken collar bone in this crash of his Lotus-Climax 18. Fortunately there was no one in the pedestrian tunnel where he ended up.

He is pretty damn lucky... Here is the car... “was” is more appropriate though...

This guy is so lucky he wasn’t killed. On a lighter note I love how they push these cars to the limit and are actually racing. They don’t pussy foot around the track in a long line.
